I love gardening.
There is something exciting about planting tiny seeds, bulbs or ugly roots and waiting for something to make its way through the soil. All you have to do is ask my wife or my family about how excited I get when I see the first signs of life. I call them over to look at the marvelous miracle that has taken place since the last time we looked at dirt.
As a matter of fact I have turned all the area in front of our French doors into a greenhouse. It has become kind of addicting every time I go to the store I look to see if there are any new flowers that I just can't live without. I am truly getting excited for spring time so to come so I can plant these tiny little plants outside and watch them mature.
Watching the flowers grow reminds me of our Christian life. We have times when we are dormant and nothing is happening in our spiritual life, but when we get rooted in the word of God, water it in prayer and allow the Son of God shine on us we too will begin to bloom where we are planted.
It is my prayer that you too will dig deep in the word, saturate your life in prayer and let the SON shine on your life until you become a beautiful Christian where you are at.
